All that the sun shines on in my seat is my domain, and I shall do with it what I wish. I dare somebody to put their feet through that glory hole and find out what happens. I’m respectful and plastic can still draw blood.

    “This person attacked me!”

    “What did they do?”

“They tore several of my toenails off”

“And how did they do that, hmmm?”

Feet are so delicate and are entirely unprotected.

I avoid confrontation, but I’m not afraid of it.

I would have no problem loudly asking that man if his foot fungus was contagious, or he was on medication that prevented its spread.

Why is it somehow so much worse that this is a train?

Like it’s feral behaviour wherever you are, but somehow very slightly more expected this was on a plane IMO

Really? People in trains are so unhinged sometimes. I have the privilege of not being seen as a person to attack and tend to have weird hours to move around that might be a reason why I see many people doing absurd stuff, from drugs, sex, or binding over racial slurs (the person being the one being verbally attacked while absolutely laughing his ass of -> they talk about it and leave together going for a drink)

This is the Vande Bharath. It is this clean in many routes, but some old ones are not so clean and is messy. It depends on area and oldness of thoose trains.

The way they(TT and staff) treat passengers also feels premium, in the trains that are maintained this way

I was thinking the same. I’ve travelled the world over with lighters in my pocket.

Only time it’s ever been a problem, was trying to bring a jet lighter with me, which is quite ironic now that I think about it.
