I’m actually watching it at this moment while I work. Only 15 minutes left, thank goodness.
Even if you look past all the BS that is that family, it’s honestly just boring more than anything. Lots of long walks with music and a monologue. The first 20 minutes is a long walk then a scene in a single room where she’s trying on 2-3 outfits. The conversations seem forced and bordering scripted in places, kind of like reality tv. In the middle, they introduced her father and how he always filmed on an old film camera, so of course they started editing it to look like it’s filmed on an old camera. Which is really weird, it’s obviously edited and jumps between normal and editing with no changes to angle or anything. Just very tacky gold plated everything everywhere.
A few lines here and there that made me roll my eyes. A few scenes of him saying the same old dumb shit he says. It’s more boring and overproduced than anything.
Diving back in to finish off this hot mess of a propo….erm “documentary”
Edit: Just finished it. The last 15 mins are mostly just a photo shoot of her in the White House. That was boring and I’m glad I was working while it was on. Off to watch Eega to wash my eyeballs.

I’d add some aspects of CBP as well, but drastically reducing their scope to strictly export control of goods. They do important work with shipping, licensing, and trade with other countries. This can be very important to researchers and universities working with international organizations or in international waters.
I know they have a very well deserved bad rep, however, some of the things they do are important. Maybe even just peeling away their export control and agricultural work to a separate entity then chucking the rest of it out.
