  • Basically, the dynamic has been that the US used its massive global media penetration to push its propaganda. Today, Chinese media is starting to break out globally creating a counterbalance to the American narrative. And at the same time, American image is starting to visibly crack first in Gaza and now in Iran. I’d argue the trend is now irreversible. China is in a great position to demonstrate leadership during the economic crisis, and its solar panels, batteries, and EVs will be salvation for many countries.

  • I expect that the US will continue to escalate. Leaving Iran will be seen as a massive strategic defeat, and it will show all the vassals that the US is no longer an unchallenged global military power. It would also mean that the US influence in West Asia would collapse, and with it so will the petrodollar. Iran is already forcing trade to shift to yuan now.

All that said, I can’t see any way the US could actually defeat Iran. So, further escalation simply means further destruction of the region, and depletion of the remaining American resources. The longer the war goes, the worse off the US will be in the end. On top of it all, there’s also the global economic crisis that stems from the war, and it’s predominantly hitting US allies in Europe, occupied Korea, and Japan. As their economies start crashing, they will pull the US down with them.

  • You could even get 100% of your panels, it’s what total percentage of energy production that amounts to overall that matters. Absolutely incredible that needs to be spelled out for you. Let me try using an example that somebody with your mental prowess might be able to comprehend. If you have 100 power plants, and one of them is a solar plant that you bought from China, then you bought 100% of your solar plants from China, but that’s still only 1% of your total power generation mix. Let me know if this example was too complex and you need me to break it down some more.

Illegal state aid, as in state aid that is against EU laws, keep up buddy, not that complicated!

Last I checked, China isn’t part of the EU.

China is absolutely dependent on energy imports.

China is dependent on energy imports that largely come from Russia nowadays. And having cheap and abundant Russian energy allows Chinese industry to have much lower inputs than European industry does.

nowhere close to the higher end which are 10-15 times higher than China

You sure love providing sources for your claims. That’s what makes them so believable.

The world is a very different place now to 5 years ago. China has shown by backing Russia in the war against Ukraine that they are an enemy to the EU.

When the whole world is your enemy, maybe you’re the problem. Smug eurotrash deserve everything that’s coming to you.
