Bitlocker has done nothing but greatly inconvenience me.

I’ve had an X1C for a few years now. My router blocks my printer from communicating outside of my home network and my firewall blocks the slicer. I haven’t had any problems. It sucks that the company is being shitty but they really do make exceptionally good printers. I’m glad Prusa is at least sort-of keeping up with them. I had a Prusa Mk3S for several years before I got my Bambu, they’re extremely reliable.

Pixel 6 pro with GOS, also haven’t noticed. Starting to think this post is not true.

Those are rookie numbers. I’m seeing $5.99 for regular around SF.

I love the city I live in and I love my job (so far). I’m going to think about this for a while, I’m hoping my current place is my last rental, we’ll see.

I live in the SF Bay Area which is one of the better places in the US for public transportation and it still sucks here. It’s a 15 minute walk to Caltrain from my house but if I wanted to go to work via public transportation (which is Southeast from me) I’d have to go North about 30 minutes on Caltrain to the Millbrae station and transfer to BART, continue going North through San Francisco, across the Bay to Oakland, then finally South to work, then walk another 40 minutes or so. Google says it would take over 2.5 hours. No, there aren’t any convenient busses. Driving takes 30-40 minutes and they have EV charging at work. It’s a no-brainer in my case.

Damn, I’m tall

I can’t help but think the H1 is fucking cool. They’re not that long but they are W I D E.

If the pentagon says something in 2026 I’m going to assu.e it’s either completely false or exaggerated in some way.

That’s awesome! How about those Epstein files?

I use google photos to pull up old pics that have already been uploaded for a long time. Google photos requires you to share your entire library otherwise it doesn’t let you view photos from the cloud, but GOS let’s you tell google photos that you’re sharing your whole library when you actually aren’t. Google doesn’t have access to any of my new pics but I can still view all my old stuff.

Or used cars

Not familiar with the furi phone but hardware switches generally are very helpful to prevent tracking.

“What if Trump dies on my birthday?” -literally my girlfriend this morning

Recently started a new job and for the first time I’m fully emersed in the Microslop software suite. Somehow Outlook and Teams haven’t failed critically but I still hate them. Someone emails me a PDF, so I open it. No, I don’t want to open PDFs inside Outlook, so I download the PDF. Where is it? Is it on my Onedrive or does the file actually exist on my computer? Does anything exist on my computer?
In my personal life I haven’t touched Windows in about 4 months now and I don’t want to go back, although I’ll probably be booting up Windows 10 because I just downloaded the pre-alpha version of Kitten Space Agency. Planning to try Bazzite soon, we’ll see how that goes, I’ve heard good things.

Also used in MRI machines and semiconductor manufacturing. Probably some other important stuff as well.
