If that wasn’t a rich people class institution, it would be called a title mill and closed for that …
Not everything in black and white makes sense.

This is idiocracy in action. These kind of propaganda ops only work if you can stop the bad stuff you are doing for at least 5 minutes.
When the Saudi comedy festival circus was going on they didn’t imprison and or kill the comedians they paid to go there. They could stop for the metaphorical 5 minutes - the current US clown show is too stupid even for that.

I think we are already seeing that with Microsoft. Another 2-3 rounds of AI and they forget how to build windows.

As a fellow diaeresis user I concur.

Thinking about that, it reminds me of addiction. You replace your motivational system with another one, that gives you a faster and easier reward.

There is an easy cope out to say, these were bad engineers to begin with, but I’m not convinced.
We know that if you don’t use an ability and use it daily your brain just reallocates resources to other tasks. So if you have a machine that “outsources” thinking for you, you will be less able to think.

Yeah, that is not the end of him nor his money.
They just let him put everything into his new business and I would not be shocked if he will see some of the money the onion has to pay for infowars now.
The rich have class consciousness, the poor don’t.

Have you seen Merz? Germany would instantly fall to the US side if that happens.

I’m happy that Spain is doing a lot of sane things at the moment. I wonder why.

I’m baffled. I thought they would limit the corruption to skim off a few bucks here or there, but seems like they are fully cashing in now.

If they invoke the 25th, they do not have to take that as a political loss. Something like “Trump got demented, we got rid of him, but his politics were still good” …

Of course.
Personally I have given up on that. I try to either use false information when they don’t need the real data or throwaway" emails and SEPA and one time credit card numbers for banking stuff.
I don’t trust any company with my data ever, so I’m constantly paranoid in a way.

The Chinese can do less harm with my data than the US and it’s allies.

Reminds me of that Brecht quote.
Some party hack decreed that the people
had lost the government’s confidence
and could only regain it with redoubled effort.
If that is the case, would it not be be simpler,
If the government simply dissolved the people
And elected another?
Bertolt Brecht

Do you think if the Italian government was involved in that they would come out and say it?
These are need to know things and the public doesn’t need to know …

I’m speaking about the firmware and other blobs that are there because devices wouldn’t work without it.
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/WHENCE

Nice, something running in an eBPF context with a blob in the middle, what could go wrong …
Also there are already a lot of binary blobs in the kernel, that also makes me nervous a bit.

I don’t understand why they are signing it. I mean we know that Microsoft is hostile, why submit to their signing bullshit.
The more you normalise bad behaviour the worse it gets.
What are you using to ship the logs to VL?
If you want to exclude “normal” logs you should start excluding them before they reach VL, so the only logs you have are the interesting ones.
I think they are also behind this. Force Taiwan to open up the latest fab in the US - rob their tech and “sink” Taiwan.
