    I understand why this cannot well be a 2d graffiti, but I’m not sure how I feel about Banksy making sculptures. It’s less subversive, somehow.

    Still, I like it:

    But I like this one more (and kudos to the photographer):

    I bet Myce is stoked they made it into the picture!

      I dont know, I like that it’s somewhat understated. It really hits hard IMHO. Goddamned good piece of art. Simple but says so much, and is applicable all over the world.

        You mean “Banksy”?

        I also have a hard time imagining that he (or someone helping him) did this without co-operating with officials. Maybe that’s why it feels less subversive.

        OTOH the article made it sound like (maybe nowadays, I don’t really follow him) he routinely reveals authorship shortly after creating something. Probably the best measure against people trying to “steal” it from him.

        Hmm, I’m kinda assuming Banksy is male… let it be said that I don’t know and just chose to follow my imagination. And ignore all “potential” identities.
