    The United States doesn’t have a left wing. Only a right wing that’s slightly less extreme right wing than the extreme right wing.

    Your two party system has fucked you over for a whole century.

      The core issue is not the two-party system, that’s just the cherry on top of the pile of shit that capitalist “democracy” is.

        I know. But the two party system does prevent everyone from ever being able to vote on a better alternative unless an insurmountable number of people vote for some third party.

          Which is difficult due to the many barriers put in by the two major parties to getting on the ballot. Many third parties spend a lot of their funds just trying to get on the ballot and defending against law suits put out by major party candidates. Leaves very little for campaigning or advertisement, relying almost solely on word of mouth and volunteers. And of course each state runs their own elections, so there is never a one size fits all solution. Plus, the rules are constantly changing and generally becoming more difficult.

      There are a lot of us with zero political power, and then there’s liberals and Neo liberal parties. I imagine it’s pretty similar in EU or anywhere in the west really. Imperial core & all that
