Warsh will formally succeed Fed Chair Jerome Powell, whose eight-year tenure was marked by several economic crises and a heated clash with the White House to defend the US central bank’s political independence.

Warsh was confirmed in a 54-45 vote, mostly split along party lines, with only Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania crossing the aisle to vote in favor of Warsh’s nomination. It was the most partisan vote for a Fed chair nominee in history.

Seriously, no one demanded a reason of Sinema. As long as there are democrats left, there will always be enough democrats flipping to pass republican agendas. It’s what they’re paid for.

Sinema officially did a flip to Independent, I wouldn’t be surprised if Fetterman does the same. All the more reason to primary corporate aligned incumbents and vote progressives in though; which currently occupy less than five seats officially in the Senate and about 100 seats in the House.

There is always a rotating villain in the Democratic party so they can always say they tried but so and so got in the way and thus they can’t fight back. Strange how this only happens to the dems though /s.

I hate the dur dur. Its always been like this replies to stuff like this. He was genuinely different and musk was not a complete nutter at one point too and heck even the republicans had some merit when you go back 50 years. Not saying they were all great but definately a difference from one time period to another.
