That’s exactly what I was wondering too.
Acquiring high quality music is already easy enough in most cases.
What I am interested in is the metadata. Accurate tagging of all my files is of high interest.

Forks of Signal exist that remove the Google Play services build requirement, those are in F-Droid.
Like Molly. I use it and it’s great. I’m using the FOSS version.
You can even selfhost the push server.

What resolution is that?
4k?

Well the rest (0.1%) needs good upload speed for their home servers. /s
Companies with lots of traffic certainly needs fast uplinks.
So upload speeds are not irrelevant and needs to accompany downloads speed for the health of the Internet infrastructure, as it trickles down to the households eventually.

I read “the new assholes” instead of glassholes.
How improper!

Great choice of distro!
Troublefree for almost 2 years now on Tumbleweed.

Throw away that key and get another one with a pinguin instead ;)

Don’t be evil - Google

In Firefox its just a flip of a button. Private DNS.
I think it uses Cloudflare by default when activated, but there are also others like quad9 9.9.9.9

Works for me on my desktop. Latest kernel. USB Bluetooth stick.
Might depend on the hardware.
Bluetooth seems to be some kind of black magic. Difficult to get right.

LMS is an awesome app. It’s a shame things like Navidrome gets all the attention when LMS is so much better.

I wouldn’t be so sure this time around.
The world is a big uncertainly and the force in Europe for digital sovereignty is something I never seen before.
The initiative to protect Europes boarders and data information is justified.

The market share for Win 11 has dropped because people are “downgrading” to Win 10, holding on to that for another year before support runs out.
The Windows computers in our house never upgraded to Win 11.
No surprise there.
Some people are also jumping ship to Linux, fed up of Windows BS all together.

I have been doing that for around 10 years already, when I bought my first NAS with Docker capability.
I keep all my music locally. Ultrasonic app on the go.

I’m staying on Lemmy and off Bluesky.
I seek and spread knowledge from/to helpful lemmings and not interested in another Twitter wannabe gossip app, hopping on the “decentralized” train to grain traction.

Well who knows?
I have no problem switching to an alternative is Cromite bellies-up tomorrow.
For now though I’ll stick with it.

The biggest problem is the scarce availability outside the US.
Or should I say, that the biggest problem is software (OS) compatibility with other devices than the Pixel?
My money is on the latter.
All my phones have been Motorola, the first one was the Moto X - OG !
Very well built and great batteries. Quality phones with close to stock UI for a snappy experience. Love the Moto Actions as well.
Only negatives were updates and cameras. Both are much better these days.
Especially now with an upcoming OS alternative!
