From what I understand, Marx or some other commie argued that the good capitalist who plays with the rules is left behind in the race (“If I don’t lobby someone else lobbies”) and the winners use all kinds of ways to create monopoly and destroy the ones slacking. Thus Capitalism leads to monopoly and kills competition and fairness inevitably.
I kinda get the impression that corporate social media turning against its’ users is inevitable in the same fashion for some similar argument. That’s what Lemmy seems to think like.
