Maybe not possible in your situation but I have a SFF gaming PC under the TV, so can just use browser on that

Was going to say, this has solidified my next ereader choice being Kobo

Obviously emotive reason for an outright erosion of personal liberty and freedom, shocked Pikachu is shocked

OT, but same context where I see slows in house price increases painted negatively in the media here

As another public only user, gotta emphasise this. I’m on a pretty quick fibre connection, so luckily it’s not a bother for me to get really good ratios but every little helps folks!

Fwiw, the Infinity Book Pro 14 in the review is also from Clevo. The author does praise Tuxedo’s tight integration of their flavour of Linux to the HW, so perhaps this is ahead of S76. No dog in this fight as I’m neutral on both companies, I like PopOS but have never bought a laptop from either

I like Vivaldi but all the manifest V3 stuff just pushed me to Librewolf for everything whether it works or not, so maybe I should “thank” Google

I got caught out by RDR2, tried playing it a few evenings ago, even signed up for a crappy Rockstar account only to be greeted by the “this game is registered to another account” message. Screw them

Is it just me that thinks this is a slippery slope into Google working towards locking everyone who uses/watches YT into Chrome only?

Rest in power, Aaron. 🫡
Eat the rich.

Yeah, not quite what I wanted to get across. Leopardsatemyface might be more suitable!

How nice of Nvidia, helping gamers save money in these hard times /s

nottheonion vibes
Kinda off topic but does anyone know a reliable thing that does the opposite, i.e. a good speech to text tool? There’s a few audiobook series that I’d love to read but are only available in audio format

Popped straight up on AntennaPod for me

Still miss foobar which isn’t on Linux, though deadbeef is fairly similar at least. Never got the hang of all the beautiful themes/skins users put together for foobar but it was still my go to music player. Excellent layout customisation, tagging and conversion UI, as well as as nice range of plugins

At least you can have separate pages for artists with the same name on streaming services, it’s been a nightmare on last.fm since it’s/audioscrobbler’s inception. I know, I know, what year is it?!

Thanks for this, from a non techie

I cancelled my 2TB sub and moved to MEGA because the CASA requirements meant CDisplayEx (comic reader) also had to drop Google Drive integration. Good timing as I was deGoogling over other areas like email, browser, etc
Exactly, I basically just use mine as a big monitor connected to my PC sat beneath it
