Can someone explain? Isn’t removing bots actually a good thing?

Why do people use one social media site over another? He will only do it when he finds it useful.
It’s not a religion. It’s just a tool. Just send him something interesting on this platform. If he thinks there is anything interesting here, he will start using it on his own.

What is wrong? Publishing on ARM? I don’t understand why this post received so many downvotes

Yeah, that’s the idea, but they are still not there

There is no such thing like “running model with your training data”. To change model’s behavior you need to fine-tune it, which means: to continue training it on your own data set. For this to happen you need to have your own dataset, computing power and knowledge how to do it because you may as well make your model performing worse. It is not an easy task.

China is winning the race just because they release open weights of a models. The main question is: why do they do that? They don’t earn money, so there must be something else that they gain. Political influence maybe? Spreading propaganda? Has anyone checked if those models answer questions about Tiananmen Square?

Yay, another day with Windows Sloperating System

Let this sink in down

Why would I want to use it instead of or alongside with Syncthing? What does it do better?

This platform is just evil, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened it recently. Most recommended posts are just dumb tiktok-like short videos, sometimes soft porn even. All of these mixed with stuff posted by governments, politicians as it’s their way communicate with citizens. It’s just crazy, it’s like we replaced law gazette with posting official stuff in tabloids.
…and a year when Half life 3 is released ;)

Is there a reason why you gathered so many features in a single update? It seems to be challenging to test all these features at once, why not just publish them step by step in smaller updates? For instance, Mastodon have even split quote posts into two separate versions (first backend, then frontend) to make this process smoother.

I’m using Proton for privacy, not anonymity. I’ve literally put my name and surname in my email address. I don’t care if someone knows that me is me.
But I do care that no one is reading and/or automatically processing my mails.

Hopium administered

We evaluated Devstral 2 against DeepSeek V3.2 and Claude Sonnet 4.5 using human evaluations conducted by an independent annotation provider, with tasks scaffolded through Cline. Devstral 2 shows a clear advantage over DeepSeek V3.2, with a 42.8% win rate versus 28.6% loss rate. However, Claude Sonnet 4.5 remains significantly preferred, indicating a gap with closed-source models persists.
Thank you for being honest about performance

saves 15 million euros in license costs
This attitude is plainly wrong. If you use Linux because it is free as “free of charge” then you are missing a point. You should use it because it is open.
I would even say that they should contribute the same amount of money to organisations that actually develop a software that are going to use. Because they will certainly need support and security patches and this will never be free

Is Multi-Community UI already available? I can see it is merged, but is it released?
Memory requirements does not mean that something is bloated.
Windows XP required 64 MB of RAM. Does it mean Debian is bloated then?
