And your sure it’s not Instagram/meta capturing data on the browser or whatever you use for ddg. Do you block all cookies. Have your devices been profiled or is the website you click on selling data to meta. Are you logged in on the same device. Are you inspecting traffic and seeing meta traffick when on ddg while not on insta

Probibly not sustanable if you need to stop bots, vote manipulation, Astroturfing and cyber attacks. You can mitagate this as many websites do but an election site(as weak as an online petition may be) I would say is esspesuly sensitive. Also if you take on the responsibility of gathering signitorys data to verify the legitimacy of the vote. I know it’s not a solution but I would say self hosting would not be wise.
