Probably because the hardware is going into systems that eliminate jobs and we become broke. All that gear is gonna sit on the shelf if we can’t afford it.

Seems like a guillotine would be far more humane. No 80 seconds of breathing - man that must be like an eternity of pain.


GenX - here’s a few:
Lawn darts. Unsupervised play over 1/4 mile from home at age 8. Unsupervised play over 1/2 mile from home at age 10 with a BB gun. BB guns as paintball weapons. (no eyes were put out). Riding a bicycle to school on a highway shoulder from grade 7-9. Latchkey kid. Going fishing with a neighbor (retired man) as an adolescent for 2-2 summers. (Ps. We fished and talked.)

I finally managed to cut back and this latest catastrophe has me eyeing the bottle again.


Biden would have been better off skipping all the events and say he can’t validate Trump’s candidacy with a debate. He’s a felon and being tried for crimes unbecoming a president. But now it’s all blown up in his face.
I really don’t think the debate changed any minds, but it did energize one side and depress the other. I doubt that energy can be sustained, attention span is very fleeting.
