Last time I tried, I had no luck unfortunately…
Would love to hear if (and how) anyone actually made it work properly under wine!

Not sure what you mean. Can you explain?

Last time I checked, I had issues to delete the audio-recordings from the device, when only connected to Linux. Maybe it was read-only or something like that (sudo rm didn’t work).
Not really. At least nothing I deeply miss. 99% is absolutely perfect for my usage.
Maybe when it comes to hardware specific software, there may not be a linux-version of it. But this can only be a matter of time.

There are already some youtubers linking to their patreon because their content gets demonetized frequently (shiey, gifgas).
I think this could be the way to go. Instead of patreon, liberapay could also be used.

Hehe, unfortunately not. But maybe you can read them soon with their brilliant software!

LibreOffice does, what politicians are too scared to do.

LibreOffice is now needed the most in terms of digital independence. And it seems to do well!
I kind of like the idea. Open source everything.

Probably…people love to be the product!

So, for EU citizens this means, if they visit US, that EU will also have their DNA, if I’m not wrong?

Me too. Last time I checked, there was no handy solution with the DRM stuff.
I simply hate being spied on. I also can’t logically understand, why to pay for a product, while still losing privacy at the same time. Then I came to linux, and it does the best of both worlds: It can be used for free, while respecting privacy. I still donate to my distro though, but it doesn’t force me to.

You’re my hero! It now works.
[Unit]
Description=Nomadnet Service
After=network.target
[Service]
Type=simple
ExecStart=/home/admin/.local/bin/nomadnet --daemon
Restart=on-failure
User=admin
Group=admin
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
So, now the service runs as a daemon. Is it a problem to login via SSH and use the command nomadnet (no daemon), while the daemon-service is running? Because it seems to be working when I try it?
Already opened a PeerTube account. From time to time I take a look whats going on there.

Hmm, doesn’t this undermine the whole purpose of encryption? If I understand that right, there will always be unencrypted stuff of me? Also when I completely shutdown?
F5-TTS. Only needs 15 seconds of reference audio and you’re good to go.
Yeah, it’s recommendable.
Thanks, I will try it!
Hopefully Linux gets relevant enough, so that even the last company feels the need to provide a proper linux installer.
