That’s ridiculous. You know that’s ridiculous right?
People gonna eat meat. They can eat dead animals or they can eat this stuff. You choose which you prefer

I was the same, dishwashers seem mostly pretty crap at eashing dishes. I’ve had about 6 different ones over the years and they never seem to save much time because you basically have to clean the dishes before you put them in anyway.
But we finally got a good one. It wasn’t cheap but I can at least recommend this one: https://www.bosch-home.co.nz/en/mkt-product/dishwashers/built-in-dishwashers/underbench-dishwasher-60-cm/SMP6HCB01A
Now I just scrape food off but dont bother with a heavy pre-rinse or scrub (except for things like dried eggyolk which still never comes off without a decent scrub)

You just slide it out, turn off the inline tap, unplug it, plug the new one in, turn the inline tap back on, slide it in, you’re good to go. You dont need a professional for this, it’s a very basic job.
At least where I live? Maybe the US has weirder dishwashers?

Definitely best to keep steam away from the pubics
I’m trying to save money on the power bill so I’ve reluctantly connected a few things to the wifi in the hopes that I can set them up to easily tun in a delayed way to use off-peak power. Turns out, neither the dishwasher nor the washing machine or dryer even support that! The dishwasher does, but you have to use the app every time - you can’t set it up to run delayed by default when you press the start button on the machine
So, back off the wifi they go. It was the first use I had for ‘smart’ devices and it didn’t even do the thing.

Local school is still going ahead with their class trip to US because they booked it before the shitstain got elected. They’re crazy - half the kids are brown and some are clearly 🌈 so I wish them the best but can’t imagine it’ll be flawless. They’re not planning another one though obviously.
I know him as the guy who made his webserver respond to everything with a ballsack in an eggcup if your Referer is hacker news. Seems childish

Phone: great for mindlessly scrolling or the odd comment.
Laptop: for actually getting anything done.
I’d use a desktop but sometimes I have to work from cafes or something so I prefer just using a laptop all the time rather than two machines
I’ve had a mac for years and still haven’t had any need for an iCloud account. It’s optional

What’s that in football fields?
On iOS it might be though, because there’s no revanced and browsers can’t have plugins so the only way to adblock is to use a browser that bakes it in.
This means (afaik) Brave, DuckDuckGo or Opera. IME adblocking for youtube specifically is patchy with Opera, can’t speak for DuckDuckGo.
Or just don’t use iOS. I don’t much but we have an iPad for occasional use
