I don’t see it even on the browser version of Voyager, so I don’t think you’re missing out on anything.
Made butter today for the first time. Wasn’t difficult but it took some time, not a lot.
Half gallon (64 oz/1892ml) carton of 40% heavy cream from Costco makes 1 quart (32 fl oz) of buttermilk and about 2 pounds of butter by eye (didn’t scale to confirm). It all fits in a 5 quart KitchenAid mixer for the churning.

I was doing a bit of cleaning recently and came across a binder/collection of burned DVDs and PS2 games. The kids were young and did a lot of travel by car, which had DVD players strapped to the front head rests. I had a bunch of stuff ready like anime like Inuyasha, Ghibli, Avatar TLA, home videos, VCDs, etc. I even found my old bare bones SATA DVD player that was stripped out of the PC, and a new pack of blank DVDs too. I bought a USB enclosure and the darned thing still works perfectly on my current Linux machine.

Not even. More like 3 months ago.
The pair of 2x16 DDR5 6000 TEAMGROUP I bought back in April was $90 from Amazon. According to pcpartpicker, pricing started trending upwards late September, which Newegg still had it at $89 (9/30/25; B&H @ $109). The same pair at B&H is currently $439 (12/21/25) and MemoryC is asking $596. It’s insane.

Yeah, but that was a bundle promo price offer. I essentially got a free AM5 board and still paid less than the GPU sold separately. Classic Newegg dumping unsold merch. What sucks is you can’t return one without the other, even with an RMA.

It’s insane. Back then I still had to deal with GPU prices and availability. I had to buy the 9070xt in a MOBO bundle that I’ll never use and was cheaper than buying alone at the time. The same GPU now is $50 US less than what I paid for then so it was a pretty good price considering.

So glad I built my computer earlier this year. RAM prices now are triple what I paid for.

I’m still on my iPhone 12 Pro (most up to date currently on the market is 17 pro). Updated from a 10 but probably didn’t need to (someone wanted my soon to be old phone). Upgraded to 10 from a 6 Plus only because I broke the camera. I think the last time I was on 1-2 year update cycle was around iPhone 5.
For me, I think once storage got to 128+ (iphone 6 onward), it became easier to hold on to the phone since storage didn’t feel as limiting. Like I can take pictures and pretty much not have to delete anything to make room to use the phone/camera.

The breach occurred in April 2025.
During 2025, the threat-intelligence firm Synthient aggregated 2 billion unique email addresses disclosed in credential-stuffing lists found across multiple malicious internet sources. Comprised of email addresses and passwords from previous data breaches, these lists are used by attackers to compromise other, unrelated accounts of victims who have reused their passwords. The data also included 1.3 billion unique passwords, which are now searchable in Pwned Passwords. Working to turn breached data into awareness, Synthient partnered with HIBP to help victims of cybercrime understand their exposure.
This was added to Have I Been Pwned on Nov 6

Not OP but I installed Bazzite on my old previous rig, Intel/nVidia system (i9-9900k/1080) last week. I’ve already installed Mint on multiple machines as well as my daily driver.
The regular ISO would not install and black screen. I couldn’t resolve whatever issues there were on the F2 screens and almost gave up. Later I read on some forum about deleting existing partitions on the install drive might help, so I tried the Live ISO instead and it booted into the environment just fine. The old NVME drive had an existing Windows install that I was planning on overwriting. I ran Gparted, selected the two partitions and hit delete, then install. The progress bar stalled a bit on the nVidia part but it finished install.
The only problem I have now is wifi/bluetooth, as it’s not recognized for some reason.

(edit - fixed the wifi/bt problem, not sure when but I had it disabled in the BIOS for some reason)

Coffee and beef prices.

Well, we ALL used to be kids once upon a time. I bet these “kids” were the same assholes that I’d run into on Xbox360 pregame lobbies from time to time. Sometimes it’s just one or two, sometimes you’d get lucky and load in to an entire lobby full of them. Disgusting.

That’s a badge of honor, if anything.

A GMC truck complete with two American flag poles on the back. Classic.

There are no “R”'s (capital r) in strawberry.

It’s fairly effective in the outskirts of Portland and Gresham. I had someone ask how Portland was a few weeks ago. They were convinced it was experiencing raging riots for the past 90 days. Their source: “news from the East coast”. Not sure what that means, but yeah.

Oh wow. I hope all this fallout they’re going to receive is worth it for them.

Oh no, he wants to “rebuild the stack” from the ground up again.
We all know he didn’t author that.
