Well, the only person on the list with “developer” in their title has the lowest salary, the executives are paid more. And you will not in a million years convince me that corporate suits are doing skilled work in a way to deserve more compensation than people actually making the product.
I depend on medication and medical supplies so I’d die within a couple of years no matter what disrupted that logistics chain. Also that time would be miserabe enough that it might be better to just off myself when it’s obvious that civilization is down for the count.
Nothing spectacular comes to mind, but I’ve seen a couple of drivers backing up on the motorway after missing their junction, so maybe that.

There’s a shitty horror flick called The Hand from the early eighties. Michael Caine is in it, hamming it for the paycheck I suppose but still kinda cool even if the movie is pretty bad. Anyway, there’s a terrible effects shot of the titular crawling hand pushing its way through the plumbing in a shower, and I still sometimes have nightmares of that scene decades later. 5 year old me was not ready.
Same, but I still recommend the movie to everyone. It haunts in all the right ways.

Yeah, it’s unbeliavable what hand-wavy bullshit each and every project or initiative to combat bullying is. Must be beacause most of the people who end up in administrative positions have been bullies themselves growing up, all evidence points to shit floating to the top in almost any society.
I can’t claim I saw everything that happened during my elementary school years and some cruelty must’ve happended without me knowing. From what I saw, though, there was just one kid that got bullied more than me, and he ended up killing himself at 16 years old. I often think he might have made a better choice than me.
One where I was dumb was when I sold my then one of best friends a laptop and took his word for him going to pay a week later even though I knew he was a small time grifter. We were tight so I thought he wouldn’t screw me over but alas, believing in people is dumb.
The second was an online friend of many years and good emotional support one way and the other, but then out of the blue the dude starts spewing hate and straight up tells me he’s a nazi. Fuck that guy. Well fuck the first guy too, but at least I knew the devil back then.
Also grip for steering. Backwards facing teeth on the front wheel would just end up skidding a lot of the time and make the bike impossible to turn. Is there a video of this thing in action somewhere?
I guess, but the Energiewende must’ve been really expensive already and by my best guesstimation those upkeep costs would have been small in comparison. What irks me more about the situation is wrapping shutting down the nuclear plants in a guise of green policy while simultaneously supporting a huge coal industry. Very happy for all the renewables, still.
