Meanwhile, I must have shared 100k files out of a <100GB collection in ~5years. FTTH connection tho

How large is the backup? Could be useful for some, most is installable via dpkg/apt IIRC

Just a note that gay was not a slur ‘originally’; https://www.websters1913.com/words/Gay
In general I agree with your POV, I always say people to use all the words they know with me, curse words included when they need them. But personally I’m into etymology because it gives me a sense of ownership of a word, if I know the old meaning hidden inside (or sometimes very different from) the current meaning, I can use a word exactly as it was intended. Or I’m just a nerd lol

Correction, it’s 3GB split between 20 mailboxes max. Most info is in the FAQs: https://en.faqs.bookmyname.com/enfaqs/services#section111
IIRC some things were/are badly translated from French :D hmu if you need help with smth

They sound like a blast, thank you so much for the recs!

I use the mail service included with the domain at Bookmyname, they give you 2GB that you can split between multiple mail accounts, and unlimited aliases that can also send (they are called Identities in K9mail and other programs, you have to add them to send).
The aliases still end with your domain name - for more privacy you can nest them for example one alias to receive simplelogin mails, another for 33mail, ecc.
BTW mailbox.org is a great choice too, probably simpler to use but it costs a bit more.

What shows do you recommend? I watched the first episode of Very Important People a while ago and it was fun

Similarly I always think that a domain name with unlimited mail forwarding addresses (aka aliases) is amazing; a .eu domain costs me around 6-7€ a year with Bookmyname - old timey interface but all I need it for is to add more and more aliases :)

tyhsgmk: thank you honestly so goddam muuuuuuch kay? 😁
This is it for me, I might have to try a bigger phone to fill those time gaps productively. I encounter the same situation as OP, and if they can’t easily carry A4 paper as they said they probably can’t use a tablet…
What I hate about newish phones is the thin aspect ratio, and foldables are not robust enough yet to my liking :/

Recently F-droid has gained Kahon (Mihon light fork, easy to import settings and reuse the folders), works great!

According to the Macmillan they are [ˈsʌt(ə)l] vs [ˈsæd(ə)l], so the vowel changes slightly, but it depends on the speaker; I’m not native but I say saddle with a more open “a”. But they’re otherwise almost identical to me (in the British pronunciation included in the dictionary I hear a “t” both times, in the American one a “d” both times - which is how I say it too)

So mostly you hate French :)

Usually any general blood work includes this test - it tells us the trend of glicemia in the previous 3-4 months. You might see it as HbA1c (glycosylated hemoglobin)
Best of luck to you guys
I like this, but with pebbles instead of coins :)

No Mr. Owl, he’s a polar bear

There are plenty of mobile ryzens with a TDP of 15W, I’m not suggesting a Threadripper for a tv box, that’d be crazy :)
The -U (“ultrabook”) Ryzens are found not only in laptops but also in mini pcs, very efficient (yes even at idle, I have a power meter) are also the -GE and -G APUs despite the higher TDP (35W and 65W) because of their monolithic design. And in mini pcs the system consumes less power compared to putting the same cpus on a beefy ATX motherboard with a hungry chipset and inefficient VRMs.
Intel+TSMC mobile/embedded cpus are also great choices, same concepts apply.
I should have written desktop environment (DE) and not manager (I mixed it up with WM, window managers), btw they’re not just for actual desk-top computers, some are even optimised for the TV (and input with a remote). I misunderstood that you felt a need for a lighter software setup instead of simply preferring it, my bad, and kudos for making sensible choices, bloat is bad. Happy linuxing.
You mean Chinese? With an ever bigger presence in India I’m sure
