Oh I thought it was actually unlawful to stream the music of a game, thanks

IIRC it’s because the streamer can’t play the music to people, since they don’t have the license for that, the game has the license to play the music, not the streamer.
From what a couple of friends more intertwined in politics said, the optics isn’t for nations generally, but for convincing people that don’t really care about the issue or vote “with their hearts” whatever that means
A higher up really likes AI for simple proofs of concept, but at times they get so big it’s unusable. With the people on my team, however, bad code is synonymous to AI usage or stupidity (same thing)

~/code for code
~/dots for git-backed nix configs
~/.rt for projects compiled locally (“runtime”)
~/Screencast for recordings of my screen
I also create a ~/.shrc.bash symlink that points to ~/dots/bash/bashrc that reats ~/dots/bash/*.bash and sources the files
~/.shenv.bash where I keep environment (computer) specific settings

Them he’s betting.yhst the economy will crash, basically, and we’re okay with that shit.
Why should someone not be able to short some stock? The AI bubble will burst anyway.
Also, he doesn’t have one billion dollars, he manages an investment fund that people collectively put a billion dollars (or more) there.
The reason the survey shows that many canadian people is probably much simpler. The survey was hosted on lemmy.ca
OP didn’t knew a lemmy server was federated with other lemmy servers. They thought lemmy was centralized and canadian
I’ve developed it in rust!
I made it because I needed an interpreted language in rust and didn’t want to use lua, and because I just like doing it :)
I’d done some languages before, but just some very simple assembly-like stuff
This one has functions, control flow, closures, scoped variables and such. Also, it’s stack based! Which is interesting for me and hell for the users (also me, lmao)
Sadly I won’t post it here because it has my full legal name attached :(
They probably wouldn’t seed it, but I really don’t want to risk it
A few months ago I started working on an interpreted programming language. It’s not particularly polished, but it helped me get a new job!
I wanted to code in C. I saw some tutorials for windows and found it very complex, but I saw one in linux where the person just gcc hello.c. And since then I’ve fallen in love

Nix made me love my computer. I have everything I want and if anything goes wrong I just rollback. After a taste it’s the only OS that feels right

That site is literally just static content. Yes JS is needed for interactivity, but there’s none here

There are “AI mazes” that do that.
I remember reading and article about this but haven’t found it yet

The problem the article highlights is not the considerable amount of “graybeards,” but the lack of everyone else.
to have a bigger part of that pie, then have more of them jump in.
The problem is: how?
I personally enjoy working with open source projects because I like making code to help other people. But, apparently, that’s not enough of an incentive for other people.
Or, of course, they don’t have the time/resources

Tbh you can play 0h h1 on your phone. A simple level takes 30 some seconds
