Thanks for the tip. Will try next time.

Voyager does this to me occasionally. I just endtask it and re open.

This sucks. Fully leaving Discord will be hard for me. One server is functioning as a memorial to my Clan leader who died of cancer.
Maybe I need to research a method of archiving or migrating the data I have access to.

You are correct, it ‘should’ function like windows 7 through 10. But back then it was a simple extension of the task bar. Now it is a bloated poorly optimised application in it own right. It lags, it crashes, it causes system CPU spikes. Whilst writing my comment I wanted to open Notepad and START went not responding for 10 seconds. Hell, taking a screen shot of it is now effort.

The Start menu has gotten worse with every update. It is getting ridiculous.
I can no longer click start > type in the program I need > hit enter.
Start menu, you had one job!

I often forget that I use Action Launcher. It has a feature that I love called Covers where an app icon is both an icon and a folder depending if I tap or swipe it.

I’ll add, Clicking on running programs in the task bar and they refuse to become the active window. You need to work through them all to fine one that works before they all start working again.
As long as it retains its primary task of removing the formatting from text copied off websites.

Why would I decide what I like to listen to when am algorithm can do it for me?

They discovered patience that I never knew they had in them.

I speed limited my kids internet to 56kbps to make them go do chores. At first they complained that it broke everything. Later they were finding the most text based sites and waiting for them to load. They learnt and adapted.

Received an email this morning. Copilot is now powered by GPT5.
I watch everything at least 1.25 speed depending on the show. Most YT at 1.5 speed. Once you start you can’t go back to 1x. Everyone talks so slowly.
I download to a 1TB USB drive. ARR’s then copy the completed files to the NAS proper. When the USB fills I clear up ~100GB of the oldest files. Then the cycle continues.

Thank you for you replies. I found a patched version that threw no virus alerts. next step, actually practicing.

Thank you. I have never used APKvision. Is it a trustworthy site? I guess it is research time.

Patched CAT6 cable to nearly every room in the house. WIFI is good these days but still cant compete with good ol ethernet.

For Australia I would go with Snowtown for the bodies in barrels. Or maybe Kendall where William Tyrrell disappeared. Both towns are pretty small.

I still long for the old Scene Torrents days. RIP SCT
I saw that as well so I have left Plex scrobing to Last.FM, then Listenbrainz can pull the data from there.
