F*** Wayland

So, just like here on Earth then.

I’m confused. I thought they had 48 hours to reopen the straight, but not really because talks were going well, but still 10 days until the US destroys all the infrastructure, but talks have been productive, and the war is going to be over any day now, but it doesn’t matter because we don’t need the oil, but we could take over the oil fields, but Europe should help us, but we don’t need them and they should do it themselves.

Bees all the way down.

I figure with Booking.com I’m going to end up with a windowless, roach infested hotel room anyway, so I look for properties with reviews like “No windows. Lots of roaches. But a lovely breakfast.”

Sounds good until it gets to the Supreme Court and they rule that anyone working under the direct control of the president has carte blanche to commit murder at will.
You know… as long as it falls under the category of “official duties.”

Is this a time traveling article from like, 2 years ago?

Good thing the pig-headed, slack-jawed, gas guzzler jackasses didn’t put up so much of a pointless tantrum that most manufacturers stopped producing EVs altogether.
Oh, wait.

I mean, it’s certainly faster than the media and “watchdogs” are figuring out what’s happening.

He mocked someone for trying because he’s WAY, WAY too smart to be fooled by effort that doesn’t IMMEDIATELY magically fix everything.

I feel comfortable saying I believe it would solve MANY more problems than it would cause.

I’ve heard this before from people - that this is some kind of 3D chess attack on China, but that doesn’t hold water.

I’m not cheering for China to come out rosy, but look, they have huge strategic reserves, a much bigger penetration of electrification, and the ability to ramp that up quickly. Overall, China is probably one of the BEST positioned countries to weather this - the impacts on other countries, including US allies, will be FAR worse. This is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

People started doing it professionally when the ad money came in. Before that people did it for the love of the content, and it was lower production quality, but better content.

Don’t worry. Those normies are about to cost us the whole open web, and there’s nothing we can do to stop them.

I am so tired of “journalism” that’s just shocked Pikachuing about crap that people already know, and HAVE already known, for YEARS.
It’s either a total waste of time, or people are so thick and oblivious that they don’t know something that’s been staring them DIRECTLY In the face for AGES, and I honestly can’t decide which explanation is more depressing.

It is absolutely viable to live your entire life without going to a live event. This isn’t anywhere on the pyramid of needs. “Only game in town” only applies for needs.
That said, I don’t buy the idea companies should be able to do whatever the hell they want. It’s bad for EVERYTHING long term. Companies are like an animal that will eat until its stomach explodes without being stopped.

Luckily the “highly qualified” head of Homeland Security just got replaced with someone new who in ADDITION to being unqualified is also inexperienced.

There’s always money in the banana stand.
