I’ve never seen this many downvotes on a comment. 👏

and didn’t tusla recently discontinue the whole thing

stole it? i bought every piece of it new a long time ago and assembled it myself, and i had a legitimate win8 licence that i upgraded to 10, for which i downloaded the installer directly from microsoft

when i first switched to linux, i kinda took a little bounce. had some little annoyances in nobara and went back to win10. but when i saw my school logo in the start menu and it said somewhere that my school is the administrator on that pc, i went right back. that was creepy af, all i had done was sign in on ms office.

i wanna do a silly voice

so you’re a few steps behind me then, i threw my computers in the trash and started a farm

why do we need big black socks?

greetings from the International Space Station

my boss loves AI and he uses it for everything. he made some stats graphs and summaries, and he was bragging how he got AI to make them errorless: he tells it to check for errors and makes it swear it’s accurate… while we were looking at a graph where the y column numbers were all fucked up

the issue is not with running the game, but unpacking is usually just about impossible. i have less than 20% success rate, so i usually just unpack using w10 in virtualbox, then transfer it back and then it runs fine in lutris. it’s fiddly at first but you’ll catch on.
if you even get that far in ubuntu and their snap mess. you may avoid a few headaches with linux mint.

jokes on them, my car is offline only

*cries in no port forwarding
no matter how long i keep trying to seed, not even one bit uploaded

AI generated detail is not something anyone wants in an actual camera, it usually looks odd. but i doubt 180mp vs 50mp is going to make much difference other than massive file size

my kubuntu laptop gets like that every time i close the lid and wake it up. pleasantly surprised it hasn’t happened on ultramarine kde on my desktop…although it has a ton of different issues

to be fair, during the past few years that I’ve used mint and kubuntu, not being able to shutdown, restart or suspend has been a pretty common issue 😅 so it’ll be a nice familiarity for people migrating from windows

in my experience Intel’s gpu drivers on linux suck ass. you only get like 60-70% of the card’s performance

my first pc was a vista laptop, i downloaded some awesome windows themes and cursors from deviantart. once i tried to replace the start menu orb, but the image file i replaced must’ve been the vista logo that comes up at boot. it didn’t boot anymore.

200 km range in the summer means 100 km in the winter. i live in finland and i frequently need to drive 100+km away from home. nearest ikea is 130 km away, relatives living in other cities, etc. i imagine it’s the same for a lot of people, not just in the US.
then there’s me, pirating for the last 20 years, but just a couple years ago switched from utorrent to qbit, still finds 99% of my stuff from 1337x, can’t be arsed to learn what trackers even are.
