Verbatim still manufactures their DataLifePlus series of BD-Rs, and they are excellent. The market otherwise is pretty bleak… Ritek offers nothing that compares to the DLP discs.

Also, side note, Pioneer (once a leading manufacturer of BD burners), no longer makes them. LG is the lone surviving manufacturer I believe.

lol. Okay I’ll bite. So, hypothetically, antidepressants are no better than a placebo; I’ve been on almost every class of them over the last 5 years, trying to find a good fit. SSRIs, SNRIs, Tricyclics, MAOIs, SMS/MSAs.

Some (Tricyclics) worked extremely well, but they caused liver issues, so I had to quit them. Others, like MAOIs caused immediate and life threatening reactions in the form of bradycardia and hypertension.

I’m finally settled on a class that works well and doesn’t cause horrible side effects (SMS). There is no way in hell a placebo could have put my body through the hell I’ve experienced trialling all of these drugs.

Recently sold mine after the OneUI 8 update. S24U to a Pixel 10 Pro XL with GrapheneOS. Loving it.

That’s pretty unnerving. Where I live (Australia), we get snakes and frogs in the toilet during summer. Thankfully I’ve never had a snake in mine, just cute tree frogs. Though, having a frog jump into your crack is quite a shock.

For the love of Mithras do not get a fucking firestick. The amount of data collection and phone home requests those things do is actually insane. I’d love to make the switch. I was looking into custom roms for my S24U and finally decided I’m okay with tripping Knox, so I’d give it a go… Nope! Samsung has removed the ability to unlock the bootloader in OneUI 8, with no path to downgrade. So I’m stuck with an excellent piece of hardware, running software that collects and sells my data.

Sounds like something that would happen in a fascist regime.
