Raping more children

I’d rather look at a loading screen than an ad.

hundreds of thousands
Tens of billions.
The rescue of the second downed F-15 pilot cost $2 billion alone.
The cost of the 850 Tomahawk missiles fired on Iran was another $2 billion.
The US lost an E-3 worth $500 million, as well as several fighter jets, Reaper drones, transport planes and Black Hawk helicopters.
And that’s just the big “consumables”, the cost of all the other bombs and missiles and the entire logistics pipeline comes on top.
If you add the cost of the closed Strait of Hormuz to the taxpayer, we’re talking hundreds of billions.

They’re saying they need more taxpayer money.

Does that matter to the kid inside the house you’re shooting at?

Their kids should also just back the fuck down if they don’t want to get shot?
Or do their lives only count as his property?

That doesn’t mean we have to cheer for it.

So after spending 100s of billions of dollars to kill several thousand Iranians, the big achievement of this war will have been…
Checks notes…
The status quo ante bellum

You can simply refuse to deploy.
No need to mutilate yourself or attempt suicide.
Just say “No, I won’t go”.
You’ll get a letter telling you where to meet your unit. Don’t go there.
Or if you’re already with your unit, don’t get on the plane.
Maybe you’ll spend a little bit of time in a jail cell, but even that is exceedingly rare.
Most likely, you’ll just be dishonorably discharged to get you and your opinions away from the other soldiers as quickly as possible. You will then have to find employment with someone who doesn’t care about that.

Yes, and the reactions to this post make me seriously consider leaving this place.

This entire war is illegal, but articles like this just grind my gears.
Attacking a war ship on a training run is like destroying airplanes on the ground, or bombing infantry barracks where soldiers are sleeping. It isn’t a war crime, or even out of the ordinary in a war.
And calling the sub crew cowards doesn’t even make sense.
The frigate would have been just as helpless against the sub if it had been carrying its usual armament.
I guess I’m just allergic to dishonest propaganda, no matter from which side.
Also, fuck Trump, his administration, and every single US service member going along with this. I hope they get humiliated and are forced to pull out with their tails between their legs before they “accidentally” kill more school children, or deliberately destroy Iran’s civilian infrastructure (an actual war crime).

I don’t get why the article keeps saying the military frigate was “unarmed”?

That’s cause they don’t actually want to strike them. They will if they have to, but their goal is to prevent the US from hitting their civilian infrastructure by telling them what they’ll hit in retaliation.
And the data centers are only step 1.
Iran could kill the Gulf States entirely by hitting the desalination plants.

They are, for the Gulf countries from which the US launch most planes to attack Iran.
Iran’s plan is to make the Gulf countries throw out the US forces.

Imagine training your entire life to become an astronaut, and then you finally get to leave earth’s orbit on a historic mission…
But you still have to deal with Microsoft bullshit.
Yes, good chance some of the devs live there. It’s the 5th largest French city after all.
