My first job straight out of college in the late 90s, I was making 35k a year (tech industry.) my boss was from France, H1B, making 30K, obvious reason is obvious.

I am currently hosting my own email on a server that I rent and I am absolutely sick and tired of email issues, spam, google randomly being assholes and blocking my family’s traffic, just stupid shit. It’s a second fucking job at times. I have DKIM, DMARC, SPF all configured correctly, Google just randomly decides to stop my traffic randomly. Which of these options would you recommend for say up to 20 email accounts or so, using your own domain? I assume all of these options do things like spam filtering on the back end.
To be clear, I am not looking for free, just reasonable.

You’d probably get a discount if you promise to live in it and become a vanfluencer. Make sure to be quirky!

Code monkey is the appropriate term

Well, obviously? What else do you demand to go with your cheese?

The most interesting part of the article
“One of the things that we have done in my office, for the drop boxes across the counties, is make sure that they have fire suppression equipment inside of those drop boxes,” Fontes said during a Zoom call with election officials on Thursday. “Unfortunately, the United States Postal Service doesn’t have that.”

That’s not at all how it works. Micro$oft paid a LOT for those congresscritters, precisely so they DON’T have to pay for it. We do. We always do.

I’d rather see people panic buying toilet paper than ammunition

Either way the nickname should be “Subway”.
“Did you meet Subway?” “… What?” “You gotta hear this story, dude! Gramma, tell Ricky your story!”
“Did you meet The Subway Murderer? Dude, don’t fuck with her, she runs this cell block.”

Springfield copycats I bet.

First off, epic joyride. That’s how you end up with a nickname you get to explain when you’re 50.
Second off, we keep saying more people should take public transportation, and I feel this arrest sends a mixed message.
Your pocket bomb doesn’t have any actual bomb in it (unless the Israelis put some there, like the Hezbollah pagers and walkie-talkies.) They can burn fast, but afaik they don’t explode, just like gunpowder doesn’t explode. It burns very fast. On the other hand, they can produce gas and burst the battery pack, which might be considered an explosion, but I’d argue it’s not actually one.
Which isn’t going to make someone who has it happen in their pocket feel any better.
If I have my physics wrong, please correct me, I’m not a lithium bomb expert :)

When a person has nothing left to lose they will take chances that otherwise they wouldn’t. If we weren’t living in a corporatocracy, perhaps there’d be no demand for this sort of thing, but we do and there is.

Barbara? Barbara Streisand? Is that you?
I’m in a very car-centric city (Phoenix, AZ) but I use a cargo bike all the time, probably 90% of my local trips. I can’t count how many times someone in a car has done something to make my life a little easier, giving me a bit more space for example or waving me through so I don’t have to stop. There’s lots of bike hater stories out there, but it’s almost never been like that for me.
And on the other side, I let people know they have a tail/brake light out, all the time. Once you start noticing it, there’s a LOT of them.
