Is the 3060 that bad, I’ve been able to play a lot of games on a 750 TI still (though finally swapped for a 1650).

50 dollars and 0 cents isn’t a lot

It wasn’t common knowledge back then

Like electric bicycles with controllers that can be easily swapped, programmed, and tinkered with?

Isn’t that what Nebula/CuriosityStream is? All my favorite YouTubers promote it, though the caveat is you have to pay but I think the money actually goes to the creators (and they put bonus content on it like a patreon).

But even if it’s small, isn’t it an accurate representation of what people as a whole are talking about?
Besides, I know my friends in real life and they won’t shut up about it so it’s not just confined to Lemmy.

It is? I see the Epstein files all over Lemmy and endlessly posted on friends’ social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc)

We desperately need a third browser.
Safari?

Well Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has weird distorted music. Apparently it’s due to .wma files and possible to convert them to MP3 (or use some weird fan patch of Proton) but that sounds like a lot of effort for something I was hoping would just work out of the box.

But I like my blue iMessages!

Speeds over 2x were never a free feature, they just used to not be an option at all.

I hate the idea of “blocking” a user or community, to me I hear “block” and imagine a user who harasses me or posts actual spam, whereas someone who comments politics a lot might also comment non-political stuff I’d like to see, or if an event is big enough I could see cross posts in more niche communities. I wish there was a “show me less of this on the front page” option.

How much worse could it really become in terms of politics? It already feels like 60% of posts are politics, and jumps to 90% if you include the “Windows/Google/AI bad, use Linux/Librewolf/Selfhost” posts.

Sadly that’s not one of my niche interests. But thanks for the offer!

I disagree about being content with a small user base, I want more niche communities beyond News/Politics, Linux/FOSS, and memes.
I have no idea what any of those words mean and that makes me want to stick to Windows.

It’s nice that Androids can finally send me high quality images and participate in group chats without as much jank. Still not as good as an iMessage group but a lot more bearable.
And you’re what drives them crazy. I doubt they’re a MAGA Trump supporter, they probably get tired of the “capitalism bad”/“eat the rich” rhetoric that constantly gets thrown around.
1080p is good enough for me, and 60fps is better than 30 (or teens).
