De Oostenrijkse omroep ORF vond het gezien het eigen oorlogsverleden ondenkbaar dat Israël niet meedoet aan het liedjesevenement. Ook Duitsland ging mede om die reden een boycot van Israël te ver.

Denk juist dat je als land met zo een oorlogsverleden extra sterk moet ageren tegen genocide van heden ten dage.

Ik drink graag Italiaanse Kimbo en Illy Intenso of Brezile (bonen), erg lekkere koffie. In het bericht staat dat Lavazza in Amerikaanse handen is, klopt niet. Lavazza is een Italiaans familliebedrijf.

No. I make bone broth and freeze it in portions. I use that to make soup of left over meat, veg, beans with vermicelli. You can put that in a thermos for the road.

In Duitsland zie je dit teken wel vaker op verpakkingen, het e-merkteken. Niet verplicht jammer genoeg.

Ik doe het maar mijn zoon wijst me er nog vaak op dat ik (per ongeluk) iets Amerikaans koop. Bijvoorbeeld Douwe Egberts is al bijna 50 jaar zo goed als, en nu volledig Amerikaans. Moet je maar weten…

My son pays 1800€ per year for his IT education, and we as parents would have paid for it if nessecary but it is covered by our government through ‘study finance’. Also covered is his health insurance and public transport. He lives at home, so without the cost for rent and living he will get through without debt, maybe even some savings when he earns his degree, which is required for him to get a job at the American company my wife works.

This company won’t compensate your degree, (I don’t know of any that do anymore after the dot-com bubble), but they will give you courses and further training to give you career options with higher pay.

As a kid in the '70s, all the cartoons on Wednesday afternoons kids matinee…Vicky the Viking, Maya the Bee, Heidi, Remi, Pink Panther & Hong Kong Phooey.
