It’s not only a carrier issue but it is an issue only with Samsung’s bought through carriers. Samsung obviously allows that or subsidizes them somehow. AFAIK with Samsung and carrier branded devices they have their own update schedules as well that is separate than just updates from Samsung.

Did you get the phone from a carrier? I’ve had 2 Samsung’s both bought unlocked from samsung and those come with no bloatware and for years I never had anything like that happen. My wife has an S23 from TMobile and has lots of unremovable apps and bloat.

Like others have mentioned it could be better but I moved to the south east recently and these are actually unwalkable cities I had no idea. At least in Denver there’s sidewalks 85% of the time and a regular bus or train available to get some places.

Where do you usually go to find the DRM free books? Sometimes for new books I am unable to purchase a copy without any sort of DRM

This is partially why I kind of agree with the government ban. Tiktok does have some good information but it’s a lot of lowest common denominator stuff like all social media, the worst part is for non Chinese users ‘the algorithm’ pushes only dances and this misinformation or fights/arguments, while in China it’s more educational and musical stuff that’s promoted.

I was volunteering and telling everyone I knew to vote Bernie in 2016 for the primary but the DNC fucked everyone by just casting him aside. Because of that I didn’t vote in 2016 and multiple things in my life got demonstrably worse right in front of my eyes and I’m not making that mistake again.

I’m not making excuses for him but guess I see no betterment if repugs are in charge again, Ukraine situation will probably get worse as well, and I’m more worried about what more will happen with a project 2025 riddled future and stripping away of regulations and further ignoring of climate change and action. I am well aware of what’s going on in Gaza and it needs to stop, but I know which devil will be a major net worse for the future of humanity and I’m going to vote against that future which is a blue vote.

I’m pro cease fire and don’t claim to know much on the topic, but neither side is doing the right thing from reports and what I’ve heard. This one moniker to show how bad Biden is is just so lazy and misinformed since nobody who will get elected on either side is going to do the right thing but please keep posting that on all Biden threads you seem to be an expert we can all learn from.
