I can feel you. This year I tried to follow politics a bit more thoroughly. It didn’t change anything in how I acted or voted. But it made me feel depressed and stressed out.


Not this one in particular. I already had so many and just made a mental note to harvest there next year.


I live next to a forest and they’re free roamers. When I go for a walk, they often accompany me and stay close by on their own.


I’ve found a giant chicken of the woods polypore on an oak while hiking with three cats. A week later the oak broke apart and was blocking the street for me on my bike.


It’s not sarcasm, it’s cynicism.

What about Warren Buffet? Out of genuine interest.
I’m in the same boat. For many things I have zero experience in, LLMs provide me with good guidance and starting points. For me it was self-hosting and Smart Home. Of course hallucinations are real and the output can be nonsense, especially if your questions become increasingly niche. However some healthy skepticism, evaluation of answers and additional sources (just searching for key words online) keep me moving forward.
Just don’t try to learn anything dangerous from it, like identifying mushrooms.
