Ricky no!
Think of the children!
You wouldn’t want to subject them to getting into Digimon as a hobby.
(It’s too late for me, I play these shitty video games and enjoy it somehow)

Yeah, when I tried basic Ubuntu about a year ago, it must not have liked something about my two monitors or Nvidia GPU.
The whole desktop was shitting itself, and at one point I could see my mouse on one monitor but the clicks were taking place on the other monitor. It’s a nightmare to debug things when you can’t accurately click any windows or buttons.
Endeavor and Pop both worked out of the box.

I do this as well. Works great for both serving me the most interesting content and limiting how much time I spend on Lemmy.

Similar vibe here. I mourned the loss of the dad I thought I had. Not going to maintain a relationship with the person he is now.

Just a general reminder to anyone to use a site like Charity Navigator to find good causes to donate to.

most likely, some form of “fuck you, got mine”

Interested in seeing how well the armed guard equivalent of “the Uber Eats driver who eats your food instead of delivering it” works out for them.
While I love Elgato hardware from a design/price standpoint, it’s a shame it doesn’t all work on Linux. I had my Wave XLR for a year or so, but replaced it with a Scarlett Solo so I could use it on Linux.

This is pretty much where I’m at.
Discord is where tight knit social circles are.
Youtube is where I watch content from large creators I follow.
Lemmy is where I can follow public discussions about a variety of topics.
I have a Mastodon account and I like the instance, but it unfortunately fails to really deliver any of the 3 things I mentioned above.
Can confirm. I’ve sent csv files to my coworkers, and they’ve tried to tell me that the files I sent were invalid. It’s because they opened up the file in Excel to look at it first, and Excel autosaved the reformatted data.

Type “github MAS” into your favorite search engine.

Yep. Dual booting LTSC and Linux here.
I need to get a bootloader working though. I’ve just been defaulting to Windows for a few months. But I want to spend more time on Linux.
