I would rather different countries wall off their internet than try to force their version of censorship onto what people post in western countries. I already think the UK should wall off their internet instead of trying to punish people online for breaking their stupid laws.

And all it took was shutting down 300 coal plants over the last 10 years.

The obvious solution to this is to not seek the bug bounty. The next time a critical security vulnerability is found, sell it to the highest bidder. I’m sure there are black hats out there willing to pay the money that the megacorp refuses to pay out.

I agree. No public funds should go to AI. No taxpayer money should be used to construct AI or datacenters. When the AI companies start to collapse, they should receive no bailouts.

Bailouts are corruption. Why do the rich get socialism and the rest of us get crushing capitalism? When we fail, we get stepped on. When the rich fail, they get billion dollar bailouts? But they claim they deserve to keep all their riches because they worked hard for it?

I could be a billionaire oligarch too if all of my failures were compensated for with billion dollar bailouts. It’s not hard to succeed when you are elevated to the heights of the gods every time you face a little adversity.

This will be like all those times tech companies promised us they aren’t harvesting our data only to find out they were harvesting our data. Years from now we will find out the AI was lurking in the background watching us, learning from us the whole time.

This is fascists using “think of the children” to violate everyone’s online privacy and spy on everyone worldwide.
