Edit: changed my mind. While I don’t agree. This is not a bad idea.
I use cachy os for the optimizations on modern hardware and access to newer packages. I use it on ny pc for gaming and laptop for development. I find it more convenient than arch. But I can’t say if it is better.

I had the same issue on my Thinkpad p14s 5th gen. UEFI upgrade fixed it for me.
While I appriciate the security concers of having a “back door”(tailscale), having an icon for a support app for non techy elderly is also a security risk. That being said I use both for supporting my elderly mother. Having tailscale can be a lifesaver if she says the screen is black or she has no mouse. I can ssh in and check for hardware issues on remote restart.
Pretty much exactly same for me. While I am of the tinkering kind I prefer my gaming machine to game when I wan’t to game. Once linux became stable enough for my choice of games I had no need for windows and used the second ssd for game storage.

He’s content is good but for some reason looking at he’s face makes me really uncomfordable.

I still have the offline version in my Steam library. It still works, just no syncing to cloud.

It’s all about the journey.
Nice! I rember almost stripping a few plastic threads and then hoping for the best. So far so good. I hope you lots of fun and productive printing.
I personally use FreeCad it works most of the time but can be a real pain, even with proper parametric cad experience. Still it is the only real open-source parametric solid modeler. All the common ones have been mentioned but for a very small basic modeler I’d like to add https://solvespace.com/

Support in Klipper sounds amazing. There could be open repositories of printing parameters. Not 100% sure how Klipper would pass the info to the slicer but that seems solvable.

Hmm, seems like a decent idea. Definitely better than closed tag systems.

I had similar requirements, and I was choosing between Prusa and Bambu Lab. In the end I chose a Prusa Core One. Here are my subjective reasons for choosing Prusa:
A few cons of Prusa printers I’m aware of:
Prusa is probably not the best value but as far as I know it is the only really open choice for a high quality printer. Feel free to correct me.
I put my mom on Linux Mint Cinnamon (Ubuntu based) looks a lot like windows with minimal bells and whistles. Mostly just works unless you have bleeding edge hardware. Most Ubuntu flavours should also work. I’m suggesting Ubuntu based distros due to the fact that most media codecs, fonts and drivers are installed or easy to install.

Whatever I feel like. I wouldn’t decide on a whim but consider my feelings properly. Forgiveness is not a rational thing IMHO. Edit: typo

I’m not saying this is the best advice, but maybe it resonates with you. Find a non fictional character or any subject that seems interesting. If there is a person that seems cool and has a biography try reading/listening/watching that. By doing this you broaden you horizon a little and that itself should give you a slightly changed view on your own fictional character. In this way you and you character can evolve together and that may also change your relationship with the character. As others have mentioned, joining a group activities like sports, volunteering, debating club, etc can also be beneficial. TLDR: Broaden your horizons. Try to interact with new people and new ideas/views.
Just switched from Mint to openSuse Tubleweeb due to a fresh 9070 xt. Had to switch to Wayland due to some weirdness with 240hz Oled. Seems like the driver for the 9070 xt may be a little bleeding edge but otherwise it’s solid. Zypper seems more powerful, at a glance than apt, but that’s just my impression. So far I have tried Final Fantasy XIV and Cyberpunk 2070, both work great.
Interesting, why did it happen?
