If it’s good enough for the NSA and other paranoid intelligence agencies and military, I think it’s good enough for our healthcare orgs.

But I do get your sentiment on a user level. If one of my comp sci professors is using Linux in lecture, they are instantly more credible to me than those who use windows (or MacOS!!) unless I have known them for a while and have found out firsthand.

The first book was awesome. I think the second book was ok, but disliked dead characters getting resurrected for apparently inane drama. The book I finally stopped at was whatever one it was that the main character turns into a telepathic immortal sand worm and was abjectly awful.

I think they’re making the right choice. Dune has some amazing world building, but the series got muddled down into whatever drug fueled fugue state and stopped being interesting.

I’ve been on PopOS for about 2 years now. I did have to dual boot windows about 6 months ago because the Sunshine streaming server refused to work consistently on linux, and I lacked the experience to properly diagnose why the issue was happening.

It’s because of shit like this that I’m glad I switched to Linux.
