Not my fucking 40 year old knees, that’s for sure.
I agree with @Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de the 3D printer is also very repairable.

Thousands of users “affected”. Just go do something else.

Bahahaha!
What!?
Bahahahahaha! What a fucking idiot.
I agree with you. I’m a privacy advocate but there are some things I have given up on. I have an iPhone and just live with the fact that it has much more telemetry than I want. It’s better for work because everyone else has an iPhone, etc. However, on my personal computers I run Ubuntu LTS with all telemetry turned off. I use Firefox with ublock and privacy badger, if I want extra privacy I’ll use a VPN. But even then you have to trust the company that runs the VPN isn’t secretly recording your browsing data, it’s a gamble.
My main point is, fight for privacy where it makes sense. Don’t waste your limited time fighting it where it doesn’t. That’s become my personal philosophy, your mileage may vary.

It’s cool. I actually prefer it to being a player.

I’m playing the DM. My first in person table top game since 3rd edition. It’s going really well. Three sets of parents with kids. We hire a babysitter to watch them all when we meet.

This is why Mamdani I is going to win.

I was just watching a show about this on Hulu…

So don’t eat my watch band. Noted.

Earns? A strange turn of phrase for a con.

Gotcha. So you watch the first layer go down and use this to see if it needs to be adjusted.
What is the purpose of the line printed around the skull but not touching the skull?

I just experienced this for the first time. I has having to print slower and slower to get the filament to flow enough not to print skippy and stringy. Finally, the gears in the print head started skipping. I took the whole print head apart and found nothing wrong. Switched to the spare hot end that came with the printer and its printing like new again.

I’m not sure what to say. Settings just doesn’t let you get anything done. Are they going to add all the missing functionality to settings before getting rid of control panel? We all know the answer.
If my company didn’t have a windows mandate I would fully abandon it at this point. What a joke.

I don’t understand. I went to the Texas state fair last year. They were turning people away at the gate for having folding pocket knives or even Swiss Army knives. There where metal detectors and they where searching bags for weapons of any kind. Who is being banned from carrying guns inside the fair? The police?

Jokes on them, I never register products with the manufacturer.
Thanks for the input. I am leaning towards the A1. I don’t have prusa money for my first printer and I’m iffy on getting a used one because I don’t know what to look for to make sure it’s ok. If I went with the ender, based on what everyone has been saying, it might just become another in a long line of complex projects I start and never finish. I’d like to start printing things right away to get solidified in the hobby/craft.
Be hard for it to stay on with no power cord/battery…
