The excuse I always heard was the affordable care act made it to expensive for companies to keep most workers 40 hours a week. All my friends in the service industry went from one full time job, to 3 part time jobs. Worse hours and pay.

Notice the war in 598? The one mislabeled as a war of defence? When the Sui dynasty invaded Korea?
Are you one of those weirdos that doesn’t bother to look stuff up instead of reposting?
They fought a lot, they just didn’t win much lmao.

Typical Amazon undersells everyone else to remove competition. Then after everyone has gone under reminds you it is a terrible idea. Hopefully we see businesses get burnt more and determine it is better to self host, or even better yet not need half their services on “the cloud” anyways.

I bought a digital movie from Amazon prime in 2015. It fell off and they didnt give me a refund. The music I got from a burnt CD in 2004 is still on the C: drive of my current PC. I don’t think it pays to do the right thing in the long run.

In the past, individuals have cut down red light and speed cameras using power saws. Are you suggesting a laser would be easier to just burn the pixels of the camera? Wouldn’t that be dangerous for people around you?

It worked for Google. They corraled a majority of the internet into providing them add revenue. I have no need for my Kindle services anymore. I bought books there for how easy it was to put on my electronic devices, and to easily make back up copies for later. If I can’t downloaf and reformat the e-book to easily make a physical copy I don’t want it.

I have no regrets with my fine European Prusa printers.

In the US, funeral homes try to get as much money out of you as possible because they know you are emotionally vulnerable. There are exposes on funeral homes having predatory services.

I am wildly speculating it is to collect all the workflows from remote workers in the hopes they can sell the data to other companies for future automation. Just another way of squeezing money out of users who already paid for the software just to have more information stolen from them.

Fixing reddit search? Just insert a 2021 google search bar on old.reddit. I just saved you millions you dingus. Thank goodness Aaron Swartz doesn’t have to see what happened to his joint venture.
Singapore is also beautiful, they slap you with a cane for littering.
You Really Think Someone Would Do That? Just Go On the Internet and Tell Lies?
Can’t we just go back to mumble or ventrilo?
