So you bring out “this is my second language” after telling someone else “you might want to put more effort into reading”. No, that does not fly. You put “sorry, English is my second language” first. Lashing out like that is not a good look.

I can’t load a stress how bad your proofreading is. Don’t blame that on others.

How depressingly predictable.

Quantum encryption will be “broken” the same way as conventional crypto is: side channels. It’s nice to have, but it doesn’t solve the most common attacks.

Are there cases of suicide where this has happened outside of law enforcement custody?

If money is going to be irrelevant, then he should give his all away right now. Get ahead of that curve.

I dunno if Stephen Miller has a small dick or not, but if he did and was really hung up about it, would he act any different?

ICE is being extra cruel because of this. The numbers Miller expect are outrageous, which is why ICE does everything they can to meet them. Grab a guy who was just walking out of his immigration hearing? Drag mothers from their cars while their kid is inside crying? Raid entire apartment blocks? That’s exactly what happens when law enforcement has to meet a quota at any cost.

Today, we remind you that AWS isn’t the only single point of failure on the Internet.

See what happens when you don’t comply in advance?

You’re not supposed to try to reproduce the Stanford prison experiment.

Our long nightmare of commodity hardware and open ecosystems is finally coming to an end!

From the comments during the trial, he may very well lose this one.
The trouble is that conservatives hate taxes, and the old ones are just smart enough to know that tariffs are just another way of taxing things. If you go back through Project 2025, you’ll find two opinions on them. One took the libertarian view that tariffs are bad, period. The other took the protectionism view that some tariffs were necessary in order to beat China. Neither wanted such gigantic, across the board tariffs.
The old conservatives on the court were making some very skeptical questions of the Administration lawyers, and didn’t seem to be buying the answers. We’ll see what happens when the ruling comes out, but that sort of thing is a pretty reliable signal of where they’re going to land.
All that said, what’s going to happen is that after prices to average people rose due to tariffs, the payback will go to the companies that imported things, and they’ll pocket the money.

Just for context, the US uses around 7 billion barrels per year. Can keep the SUVs going for the better part of a century.

How did Denmark end up being the bad guy in this? Volunteering for the role seems out of character, but who knows.

It’s been a very seamless experience with Bitwarden. Pretty much “click passkey, now logged in”.

Most of the sites I’ve seen use it as the single auth source. That said, using multiple forms of authentication in a layered model only improves security.

I use Bitwarden and it syncs it all up between devices.
The biggest annoyance is disabling Firefox’s popovers that tend to cover the Bitwarden popovers.

That’s the root of the problem. Nontechnical people don’t use good passwords, but all the ideas we have for replacing them are only usable by more technically minded people.
There are a variety of other reasons why passwords are bad, though.
Vance can’t generate the same kind of cult of personality that Trump can. The GOP would be sunk without that.
