Ah, I forget sometimes that common sense and reasoning isn’t worth shit in a country where people are second-class citizens behind business entities. I can’t even imagine what decent labor and consumer protections look like, let alone fair and responsible IP governance.

Not a lawyer, but I think it should be pretty straightforward to prove that Stratasys is selectively /inequitably enforcing the patent given the prevalence of PEI build plates and automatic leveling, among other things, long before Bambu released a machine or became popular.

For me, it was about being able to watch yt on my tv and mobile devices which are not able to block ads as easily as a desktop browser. I have a pihole on my home network, but it hasn’t been able to block yt ads for a few years.

There’s a few 3rd party solutions that are compatible with Google’s find my device coming out this year. Pebblebee just released a few trackers, and iirc chipolo is working on one too.

Ditto. I left during the api stuff, but left my account in case they calmed down and realized it was stupid. The whole ‘selling data for ai training’ and actually filing for an ipo is what actually drove me to delete my 15 year old account today

Some websites intentionally change behavior based on your user agent. There are plenty of extensions for Firefox that let you change it so sites think you’re using chrome instead. It’s wild to me that’s even a thing, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You’ll probably want to run a pid tune if you go from using a sock to bare heatblock- it’s a relatively large surface area that just became a whole lot more thermally conductive and the pid coefficients didn’t account for that.
