This is a critical vulnerability in snapd, not systemd. It sounds like it could also be exploited if something other than systemd deleted the files in /tmp/. Or if /tmp/ was not mounted.
I do not think the leaders believe that AI is going to replace most jobs. They definitely believe that they can use the threat of AI taking most jobs to further exploit the working class.

I looked into VaultWarden recently, and I would be hesitant to use it for a business. In the latest release, you cannot create an organization because of a bug in the web ui (https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/issues/6638), and the fix has not been released because their build pipeline is broken (https://github.com/dani-garcia/bw_web_builds/pull/224). I get it is the holiday break, but hosting it seems to require some hands-on maintenance.

That is not the entire point of SCOTUS. That is not even in the constitution; it is a power the court gave itself in Marbury v. Madison.
Most SCOTUS decisions are judging appeals against federal law (including the constitution). Occasionally they rule a federal law unconstitutional, but not usually.

There is no reason why the message sync that works from phone to phone could not be implemented on the desktop client as well.
Nothing in the Qualys report nor the Ubuntu page for the CVE indicate that there is something to be fixed in systemd, only that you can create systemd-tmpfiles rules that will expose the vulnerability in snapd.
What do you think systemd-tmpfiles needs to do differently?
