As in, interpreting the Bible as metaphor?
I do think they’re more valid and I’m more willing to respect someone’s faith on that ground. I’ve considered it myself before, even, but my upbringing as a (now former) Roman Catholic has definitely colored my interpretation of it.

The moment I couldn’t square biblical inerrancy with the many contradictory (both mutually exclusive and self-contradictory) statements of the Bible.
Also, being very into astronomy and evolutionary science, which ran hard up against the stories of Creation.

My issue wasn’t with calling Trump a Nazi (I find that assessment correct), but calling them both Nazis. Yes, the rightward shift is concerning, but the false equivalence put up here understates Trump’s danger and heavily overstates Harris’s.

God, I despise the watering down of the term “nazi”.

I feel like if anyone attempted to bomb an American TSMC plant, there would be far larger problems on the docket to come.

The point of a “false prophet” is that they claim to speak for/act in the name of God for their own (evil) ends. False prophets are the highest tier of grifter in a religious context.

That isn’t really consistent with English orthography.
But you can write “pfysche”, and that would be consistent with English.

Nice to see Mr. Lines on Maps in the wild.
Hey, seconds add up fast if you’re watching a lot of videos.

You can see posts from every instance that your instance has federated with. For example, I, on toast.ooo, can see posts on lemmy.world, lemmy.dbzer0.com, and sh.itjust.works because my instance federates with them.
You can’t see posts from instances that your instance has defederated with, though, nor can you see posts from instances that have defederated with yours. Think of it like cutting one of those thick undersea cables that connect the internet across continents.
There’s a lot to consider when picking an instance; lemmy.world is a good default, so that’s probably why Voyager directed you to it, but don’t be afraid to switch to another instance of you think it’ll serve you better!

I’m OOTL; what happened with Direwolf20?
I think that’s just wanting to join a gay primitivist(?) commune.
I, uh, don’t suppose you got room for a bi-curious peep?
