I do IT category management, sourcing/procurement for F500 companies. Been doing it for like 15 years and I don’t know what else I would be doing. I like the work. It’s challenging, changes enough, and there is a mix of strategic and tactical work. Notably, I don’t get burned out with it.

That also means people can do whatever they want with spectrum. Gonna fuck with Starlink and all kinds of other communications. Afterall, with no FCC, y’all can do whatever you want.
Well, one thing that is clearer than anything else is, you are going to have to work. So do something that you are okay with and you are good at, and get paid decently for.

I live in a small city of like 33k, and basically, why is it a snooze fest? Because the population is mostly 9-5 and with families or older people. There is stuff to do, but it isn’t centered around the 20 somethings. That kind of thing is for the bigger cities or college towns.
I can tell ya that for someone like myself, the bar scene doesn’t fit who I am today. It fit me back in my 20s, but that’s because I wasn’t super healthy, mentally. Something to think about

Your stepdad?
It’s about maximum profit and control.

Even if you do find a viable alternative, we need to change how we live and invest heavily in public transit everywhere

By suing themselves, they are losing out. Like, if you don’t like the leadership, then get rid of them, that’s why you have a board of directors. These lawsuits from shareholders is stupid.

Fossil fuels would have declined even more if it wasn’t for the fossil fuel’s anti-nuclesr campaign.
Yeah, but the gaming isn’t bad on Linux.

An iBook. I had the GPU replaced twice under warranty. I sold it after the second time. Never again.

I was in hospice with my father and I watched him die for a few days, or…was it a few months.
Capitalism always leads to monopolies and will always be in conflict with workers.

Well, they are a significant minority.
They are screaming because they rather pay for convenience, but that is not how it works.
To be fair, there is often a bit of tweaking to keep linux going. But in general, it works quite well.
