Yeah I agree it was probably a/b testing since I use ublock origin as well so I’m use to this kind of stuff.
But the point I’m trying to make that I didn’t know at that time librewolf would have settings turned on that could break some websites.
It broke youtube for me yesterday and mind you I’m a web developer and I didn’t know what broke it exactly to turn it on/off.

I installed Ubuntu in my surface go 2 and it’s light years ahead of windows in terms of performance.
I couldn’t get the camera to work though. But other than that it’s rock solid.

I just ran MS Paint (XP version) using wine. You just need to install mfc42 library and it runs great.

I use windows 11 at work and today 2 issues happened within 5 minutes that I’ve never seen before.
First, I took a screenshot with their app snap or whatever it was called and when I saved the file it didn’t write the data 0 kb. Within 5 minutes I tried to copy 3 cells from one excel file to another and an error occurred with the clipboard!! even though it did copy the freaking 3 cells.
I switched to linux 2 weeks ago and I cannot be happier!

I run Zorin OS 18 on my desktop. I just commented Ubuntu since more people would understand the comments.
Also, for Surface tablets, I believe Ubuntu is the best option for touchscreen support.

I used windows since 3.1 up till 11. It’s dogshit after windows 7 even when I use cmd scripts to limit telemetry and customize it because MS with their infinite wisdom decided to revert my customizations to their default dogshit.
Linux is not perfect at all but Id rather dealing with linux issues over greedy executive decisions to cause issues intentionally.
A modern tv without internet connection is a dump tv.
