I haven’t seen an ISP offer tech installation on anything in years unless the home wasn’t pre-wired. Self installation kits are the norm these days.

I’m not in any way trying to downplay how bad the cyber-dumpster is, but is that an adequate sample size to extrapolate the fiery-death rate? The article says 17 times the rate of the Pinto, but it was only 5 total fires.

What is the single correct result? Because “me gusta” is an extremely common phrase that means “I like” in Spanish. I don’t have a clue what else you would be looking for, and I doubt the original poster in this comment chain does either.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but if you aren’t from the US you probably don’t understand. We don’t generally have the same protections workers in other countries have. There’s no guaranteed sick days or PTO. Healthcare is usually tied to - or at least heavily subsidized by - your employment. Education has been defunded for decades. Housing costs are so high and minimum wages so low that many struggle to afford rent, let alone get onto the property ownership ladder.
On the contrary, entertainment is relatively cheap and plentiful. Even those in poverty are generally able to escape their woes temporarily with the TV or online. The system is designed to keep people helpless and complacent, and it’s been working beautifully from the perspective of the ruling class.
What this all results in is people with jobs that barely pay enough to afford to meet their basic needs, and can’t go without work because they can’t afford the risk of no healthcare or income, and aren’t inclined or educated enough to better their situations.

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

I’m not LGBT myself, but it sounds like lemmy.blahaj.zone should have what you’re looking for.

I’d honestly be more surprised if he didn’t try something along those lines.

They are actually, and it’s pretty fucking sad.

For an administration that hates preferred names, they sure do love renaming shit. Gulf of America, Department of War, Trump Kennedy Center, etc.

Why would they even need to know? You can save it in .docx if you need to share it with someone.

I’ve always preferred “Never underestimate the DNC’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”

I lived in Vegas for 5 years and absolutely loved it, but I almost never went anywhere near the strip unless friends or family were visiting. I spent a lot of time out at Red Rock Canyon hiking the trails.

Negligent

I think this ought to put it into perspective. This guy at one time was a very successful actor in movies and TV, granted he wasn’t in much recently that I’m aware of. He was still estimated to have a net worth of several million dollars at the time of his death.
If he had to resort to selling his personal items to cover his cancer treatment, what hope do the rest of us have?

I’ve always heard 45 unless you have a family history.

Add this to the list of reasons to avoid east Vegas.
Get some of these and it should take care of the moisture issues. One should last at least 3-4 months. Replace as needed. Then just find some kind of fabric cleaner and air freshener and you should be good to go.

Because a ton of people got new devices for Christmas with Win 11 pre-loaded. Prior to that, Win 11 adoption rates were declining. It’s highly likely that future results will show Win 11 adoption continues to slide.
Wouldn’t the tu version be apilas? I’m not super familiar with that particular verb.
