Wikipedia says that Belgium provides a free pre-school from the age of 2.5 years and pre-school is mandatory at the age of 5 years.
This is what pre-school looks like:
There are no formal lessons or assessments, and everything is taught through a framework of play.
Feel free to correct me, I‘m not from Belgium.

teachers estimated 26 per cent of the children in their reception class this year were having frequent toilet mishaps
That sounds almost unbelieveably high.

Looks more like a randomly generated password.

I don’t know. All I was trying to say is that the growth of the linux market share is likely tied to external factors and not a strictly exponential growth.

That’s probably true, but the Windows 10 EoL or the “Buy European” movement likely won’t have the same momentum as in 2025.
But maybe we’ll see new linux gaming hardware, ongoing windows enshittification and better multiplayer support that will lead linux gaming out of its niche.

It took 18 month for the market share to grow from 2% to 3%.
At this rate of growth, we might hit the 5% market share before the end of the decade.

I think you’re right. Still, the two causes are at least related topics. Take this quote for example:
Epic has said Google is relying on what it called “flawed security claims” to justify its control over Android devices.
The same can be said about Google’s recent push to enforce developer registration.

I think it’s less about the absolute dimensions than about the fact that Toronto’s metro barely grew at all.

Wikipedia article for reference.
The Chengdu Metro is now the fourth largest metro system in the world with 630 km. To compare, London’s Unterground has about 400 km.

The current tariff approach by the republican administration does not include the tariffs on US exports. They are not included in the formula.

Teams randomly selects the wrong microphone, so either people can’t hear me or they can hear everyone around me too (laptop mic).
How hard can it be to store my microphone preference?
I haven’t seen one. Would be a nice addon

found a bug ;)
Edit: where is the link?

Also sourced from Chiphell, the Radeon RX 9070 XT is expected to command a price tag between $479 for AMD’s reference card and roughly $549 for an AIB unit, varying based on which exact product one opts for.
This sounds reasonable IMO. After all, there is still room for a cheaper 9060 / 9050 series.
I couldn’t find anything specific to the 1980s, but this graph shows that coal production was rising betwen 1940 and 2008. Apparrently, they needed less and less workers for even more output.

Edit: source
Yes, he promised this in 2016. The numbers speak for themselves:

Edit: Changed the graphic, link to source
A career in the coal mining industry doesn’t seem very promising in 2024.

I don’t think your brain can be reasonably compared with an LLM, just like it can’t be compared with a calculator.
I think the “it retains 98% charge” quote might be misleading. Thats true for the capacity (in Ah), but not for the energy (in Wh). The report shows this clearly in the tables:
Efficiency is about 83% if my math is right (which is still good).
