You know what might work?
You could try using Xfwm4 with Cinnamon, and getting a theme that does not contain a title bar.
Example: Border Only XFWM4 theme
This theme displays nothing but a 2px border.
There’s very likely a simpler method that doesn’t require changing the window manager, but it certainly is an option.
That definitely is an advantage over the iX3. It’s kind of like a Porsche Panamera, isn’t it?

I don’t know what 75 kbps opus sounds like, but I can tell you how 32 kbps sounds. Versus mp3 at that bitrate, it sounds actually listenable, while mp3 sounds like you’re underwater.
All things considered, the Spotify songs probably sound fine at 75.
Personally, I’ve had great success with nmac.to Quite a lot of software is available, and I definitely recommend trying it out!
