Not always… making things too convenient brought us where we are today: a lot of people are stupid and don’t understand simple things. Call me old school, but I prefer to have things move slower and make people try to understang how technologies work, not feed them everything directly!

You have to understand that federation doesn’t happen instantly. Your server has to sync with the other instances before you can find the account you’re looking for.

Fuck you, greedy fuckers!

You don’t get it. We have to resist systemd! /s

You mean they look exactly like nazi pricks? Unfortunately we’re too dumb at this moment, but I wait the Nuremberg moment for these idiots with total pleasure.

Wait. You’re on a piracy community. Who cares about DRM? There’s at least Anna’s Archive to download anything from.

Jailbreak your kindle, then install KOreader and you can read any format. Its really simple and it takes half an hour at most.

This site has data from the publicly shared information by Flock. I’m more than sure that any government organization already has the data. Also, your license plate is already public, meaning it’s visible on your car at any time. I don’t understand your fear about it being present on their database. (maybe I’m misunderstanding)

Romania, because although we have been “forced” by the EU to have copyright laws, the authorities don’t give a fuck. I’ve been pirating without any issue for the last 25 years.

Open source should not be about making money. If you start an open source project with the idea that some time in the future you’ll make money, then it’s already a lost cause. I’m with Stallman on this, even though I despise him as a person.

Give keyd a try. It works great for me.
Get to the web interface and use ‘Forgot password’ to reset yours.

fuck this shit!

I don’t understand your “problem”. If you have your domain it’s pretty painless to switch providers. You export your mail, import it to your new provider, then change DNS records and you’re good to go.
Maybe I misunderstand?

Wow! Just in time… I’m planning on learning Japanese, at least conversational level, as I’m planning a trip to Japan in 2027.

Just got Capy Reader for Android and it’s very good. I was using FeedMe until last week - it’s also very good, but I like to try new things, so I started using Capy.
I’ve used Fedora as my main OS for the past 6-7 years, and before that I was running openSuse Tumbleweed. And before that I ran Arch (btw) for 12-13 years… And so on.
Now I moved to Fedora Kinoite, an atomic distro with KDE Plasma, just to see how it is and get a feel of it.
And I’m thinking of going back to openSuse.
