they don’t have the energy to be digital activists after they have finished a day of work.
Good news! With the rate corporations are laying off and firing workers, pretty soon they will have plenty of time for activism.

Pro-File Picture? I don’t know, people abbreviate things in stupid ways.

People keep forgetting that “the cloud” is just someone else’s computer. You don’t want to pay for in-house experts to support your IT infrastructure? Welp, being locked out by a vendor is a side effect of that.

Way ahead of you there. Been hosting LLM and AI image gen locally for a year now. Music gen is next, so fuck you RIAA!

Good guy Meta. Fighting for us little guys, downloading terabytes of books, defending against lawsuits. Maybe they’ll overturn DMCA?

Want to attend the Trump Gaza Resort instead, comrade?

If “buying” is not owning, then “piracy” is not stealing.
If you think Trump will do anything but prop up Netenyahu even more, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Mass Effect Trilogy (legendary edition).

“Hi, not mom, I’m daughter!”

Never stopped them before from still passing half-assed laws.

I’m in the opposite camp - never answer calls from area codes same as mine. Scammers now target numbers with same area code as the one they’re spoofing. If also the first 3 digits after the area code match too, that’s an even higher chance of a scam.
I’d avoid cracking software. Every crack you download carries a nom-zero risk of infecting your PC with malware. I get your reluctance to switching to a different editing software, but it may be worth it.
I must’ve tried every free and paid photo editor out there, and none have feature parity with Lightroom Classic or Capture One. The thing most of them are missing is AI based tools like object masking, etc. Luminar Neo comes close, but I feel it’s only a matter of time before they go sub-only too. There’s a new free one called RapidRAW that has pitential.
