These currently include the Intel Core Ultra processors, which have been quite popular among gamers over the past year or so.
The person who wrote this article has exactly ZERO idea about the current market situation and is probably working for userbenchmarks.
I just checked some CPU sales data from retailers here in EU and AMD has currently >90% market share.
So nobody really cares…

Ok not sure how such a post got so many upvotes…
She has not really much to do with open source or at least that’s not verifiable anywhere:
Also she was active on Mastodon 3 days ago.
This person most likely is spontaneously disconnected from the net. Maybe the internet is down at her location because lightning fried the router, maybe she fell down the stairs and is in hospital, maybe she’s on vacation or - after having read through the about site - got some mental help, because not blocking and posting about people that send you creepy text messages to give them a wider platform is itself weird…
Who knows?
But starting a search on all social media will likely not bring them back either.
Maybe contact their family or other friends or visit them, I think that would be a lot more productive.
Laughs in JVM (but there’s like 1 game using it so…)

So does Motorola…

How I imagine the decision:
Should we maybe port it to Fairphone? The phone most of our users probably like?
Nah let’s do Motorola instead - you know the company were you have to spin a dice to determine if your device can unlock the bootloader or not…

Hmm I’m not sure if another RTC server solution is the best way…

You know at this point people are probably gonna start insuring their RAM…

Too sumarize the article:
US clickbait and ad infested news website directly quotes “trust me bro” Twitter post + describes in 2 sentences what a ramdisk is and does zero real “journalism” like maybe contacting mentioned dutch authorities or Windscribe themselfs.
Once again: Ban Tom’s Slopware. Post the original source instead.

I will probably never understand why people buy extremely expensive, locked down hardware and then forcibly open it up after 2 years.
How about stop shoving them money up their asses and buy a laptop from another manufacturer where you don’t have to sell your soul to install Linux.
PCs/Laptops are not the console market where there are just like 2 options available.
As long as Apple makes money with this shit, this madness will NEVER stop.

Once again the “Everything that’s not FOSS will turn to shit at one point or another” theorem proves true.

You can also use a power outlet with no grounding but don’t get surprised when your “buisness” burns down.

What have auto-generated/AI caption contents to do with the general format captions???
YT has auto-generated captions now for years, so why would they remove an unsupported, internal format because of that?

While I’m not quite sure about the exact reasons for the removal, here are some probable guesses:

> Use UNSUPPORTED subtitle format instead of one of the other 10 supported ones
> Fast forward some time
> YT disables and removes the UNSUPPORTED format

Uhm who buys gas stoves anymore in the first place? Electric stoves are cleaner, more efficient (e.g. induction cooking) and don’t cause random house explosions.
Is this an US only thing because gas is so cheap there?
