If you’re thinking about switching to prusaslicer just make the jump to Orca Slicer. It’s a fork of Prusa and Bambu sliver and has awesome community support. Make sure you only get it from the GitHub, there are a bunch of sketchy websites trying to serve you less reputable versions.

The k1max was my first. It had its share of issues but as someone who wanted to learn it was good to you build a baseline understanding. It was one of the first wave of productions that had some issues. My K1C and second K1Max only have user caused issues.

I have a k1 Max and a K1C, I loaded rooted firmware, mainsail, and KAMP. They are running like champs. Once the K2 has a couple revisions it’s probably my next purchase.
