I used to get this as a kid, this would have been about 1990 when I was 6 and at no point did anybody realise IT WAS BECAUSE NO-ONE TAUGHT ME, after that my mom spent an evening explaining it to me and after that I was fine. This is why I hate those videos where they give kids retro tech and laugh at them for not knowing how to use them, despite never being shown them before.

I live in the UK but yeah people just read shit online and they just believe it. Because you can’t just believe medical professionals from around the world, nope rando Facebooker number 6 is the only one who knows the truth…sigh

I asked them this and they just waved it off as ‘one of those things’ I’m like what the actual fuck you can’t just wave off a six month coma like it’s nothing, plus the other 6 months that they had recovering and being given light duties at work.

Lost my uncle at the height of covid because he wouldn’t get vaccinated, apparently because he thought it was population control not sure how many more kids he was going to have at 70 but there we go. He basically spent too long on nonsense Facebook pages and the inevitable happened, all because some random people online convinced him and they will never be held to account.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine Brazil apparently propping up the internet, but huge swathes of twitter shutdown when Brazil banned it a while back, for a short time.

The two reasons I’m still on Facebook are 1 my parents are on their, 2 to keep and eye on what bands are on locally at the pub

If anything I have the opposite with my garmin watch that shows my heart rate. I’ve gotten used to seeing what my heart rate does just before I have a panic attack. This has really helped me ‘catch’ myself before it happens and calm myself down. I’ve not had one for over 2 years.
